The Otway Ranges and the Great Ocean Road

The Otways and the Great Ocean Road on the south coast of Victoria is one of the great drives in Austraila. With the Southern Ocean on one side and the Otway Ranges on the other.

Photographing this part of Victoira is relitivly difficult because so many photographers have been thier before and taken amazing photographs. Getting somthing unique can really be quite difficult. A Google image search for Hoptoun Falls for example will produce many hundreds of images that look like everyone has sttod in the same place. With this location there are very few angles that have not been photographed by someone, and given the geography of the place it is not surpriseing.  While there are many photographs of Split Piont my can be said to be different because the image was made at night.

Originally called Eagles Nest Point, Split piont is quite destintive as you drive towards Aireys Inlet alone the Great Ocean Road.
